A harmonious place for wellness of body and soul

The historic Saalerwirt ensemble has evolved over the years. By the natural pond, a new ensemble of two houses has been realized. It is a place where the focus is on physical wellness: the spatial concept offers yoga rooms, relaxation areas, various saunas, a steam bath and an indoor pool.

The buildings are carefully embedded in the amazing nature of their surroundings and direct the viewer's gaze towards the historical centre of the ensemble. According to the philosophy of Saalerwirt, the appearance of the two objects is simple and restrained. It is an atmospherically stimulating space, independent from current trends and close to nature.

Due to its weather resistance, larch wood was chosen on the outside, while light, fine, untreated spruce was used on the inside. As we had already worked with this material at the Saalerwirt in the past, it brings its light, gentle and connecting properties into the bathhouse as well. Concrete-like wall and floor coatings complement the spruce, so that the room can be experienced as a hybrid that is both archaic and elegant at the same time. In addition, the acoustic properties of this native spruce tree improve the sense of well-being in this generous space.

Now the guests of the Saalerwirt have another top-class loan at their disposal: A harmonious place for wellness of body and soul. The new buildings invite you to relax and stroll around, offer a variety of impressions and stunning views as well as a strong connection with the surrounding nature. Together with the excellent hospitality, they are another reason to be a guest at the Saalerwirt.
