An idea...made of wood

That two-storey penthouse is located near the medieval town centre of a small city in South Tyrol. The characteristic, atmospheric idea of that project starts right at the entrance on the lower floor: A three-dimensional idea made of light, calm and natural fir wood. Its introversive attitude brings calmness to that generous space.

That atmospheric core theme is space-defining, it accompanies, guides and protects at the same time. It offers space for functional areas and at some points the element grants admission to the private areas of retreat. It finally opens up towards a dining- and living-area flooded with light, followed by the atmospheric contrast of our custom made kitchen.
